Towns project
Eliel is a Medical Doctor in the Dominican Republic. He has worked on the transcription from Hebrew, Yiddish, Czech and German of text for our towns and Binder texts, allowing MST to publish more and more information for our Scroll Communities to use when talking about their scrolls.
The Scan of the Shaffer Archive
Scanning project
Eden, Emma, and Fred Mernane worked through summer 2018 to annotate the Ruth Shaffer MST administration letters, stored in multiple folders in MST London. Over the following winter, Bartek Mielniczcuk then scanned 40,000 pages into PDF format to allow upload to the MST database, allowing other MST people to find the history of our scrolls since 1962 and to trace missing scrolls.
